Hershey's Store Shipping Policy
At Hershey, our purpose is to create moments of goodness with and for you. As such, we have implemented seasonal shipping policies for the summer months. Our goal is to ensure that your order arrives in optimal condition and surpasses your expectations of quality and deliciousness.
Where We Ship
- Only to the 48 contiguous US States.
- No shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, PO Boxes, APO, and FPO.
Warm Weather Shipping Policy (effective June 5th, 2024)
- Our warm weather shipping policies are in place from June through September and are subject to be extended depending on weather or seasonality.
- Due to the perishable nature of many of our products, and the location of our shipping facility, some regions are ineligible for ground shipping and require 2-day expedited shipping. These requirements are in place to ensure that your order arrives in satisfactory condition. Please refer to the map for information regarding shipping options by region.
- PURPLE STATES: Ground shipping available
- BLUE STATES: Ground shipping unavailable, expedited shipping required
- Free ground shipping on orders $60+ for eligible regions/addresses.
- Your available shipping methods will auto-populate during checkout based on your provided shipping address and the items in your order.
- Orders will be shipped with ice packs as needed at no additional charge to you.
- Orders requiring ice packs are only shipped Monday – Wednesday to ensure your order is not at risk of melting or sitting in unfavorable conditions over the weekend or while in transit.
- Orders requiring ice packs placed Wednesday – Sunday will ship the following Monday.

*Orders with shipping addresses in states that have expedited shipping requirements may still qualify for ground shipping if the order does not include any perishable items or items requiring temperature regulation.

Multiple Addresses
- Each shipping address in an order is subject to the warm weather/seasonal shipping and regional delivery method policies as outlined above.
- Shipping costs and available methods are calculated for each address separately.
Shipping Schedule
- The timeframe between when your order is placed and shipped will depend on whether the order requires ice packs or temperature regulation. Orders requiring ice packs or temperature regulation are referred to as “cool ship orders.”
- Cool Ship Orders: Shipped Monday – Wednesday. Your order will be shipped based on the date and time the order was placed. See table below for details.
- Non-Cool Ship Orders: Shipped Monday – Friday. Your order will be shipped based on the date and time the order was placed. See table below for details.
- Please note, we are unable to guarantee delivery dates or times.

- Rates and policies are valid for Contiguous U.S. shipments, excluding certain address types.
